![]() ![]() I love onenote, i've used it for two years of prereqs and my first year of nursing school so far.Īs far as the above statement, not only can you record and take notes, but it synchronizes the audio recording to your notes.so basically, it puts a play button the left of every note you write or type. i haven't tried this out yet i just learned about this function, but it sounds great for when the instructor goes too fast you can go back and playback what was said. (although if the text is not crisp, it will make some errors).ĥ) you can easily copy screenshots into onenote for easy reference.Ħ) it automatically saves itself, so i don't have to click on save before exiting the program.ħ) there is an audio recording function where you can record audio and take notes. so i can scan something from a textbook and convert it to text which saves me time from typing it all out. you can also send onenote stuff to word.Ĥ) you can also extract text from jpeg (if there's text in the image). the search function is great for finding stuff.Ģ) how you can write notes anywhere on the page with a click of the mouse (it's not as linear and "structured" as word)ģ) how you can import class powerpoints into onenote and take notes along side of the pp. here are some of the reasons i love about onenote are:ġ) how you can organize a notebook by each class with each week's notes separate but still easy to access. yes, at first it seems a bit confusing, but after looking through the onenote guide and using the help menu when needed, it can be very useful for organizing notes. I use onenote religiously in school and at home.
